Lonnie Anderson has been employed by the Farmington Police Department since 1986 and has held the rank of sergeant since 1992. He has served as the department's head training officer, a patrol supervisor, and SWAT member. In 1996, he was assigned to CJTA as Lead Instructor and was appointed CJTA Director in 2002. Sgt. Anderson instructs many subjects in our basic academy, including physical fitness, officer survival, defensive tactics, and critical incident management. In 1975, Lonnie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University in Criminal Justice. He is a native of Alamogordo, New Mexico. |
