The part of old "One-Eye" is played by Kevin Pierce.  From 2000 - 2002, Kevin was the assistant director of CJTA.  He now works for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Central Training Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  We miss him around here but we take comfort in knowing that One-Eye will still appear in future movies.

Kevin served for 20 years with the El Paso, Texas Police Department. During the majority of his career he was assigned to the training division as a police training specialist and training coordinator. His primary instructional responsibilities included legal, medical, weapons, and instructor development. He held positions in the departments divisions of patrol, auto theft, criminal intelligence, planning and research, and public information. In addition to these assignments he was a member of the Mountain Rescue team, Dignitary Protection Team, and S.W.A.T. team. Kevin held an Instructor License, Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Certification and Master Peace Officer Certification through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education and served on the Commissions State Exam Development Committee.

Prior to his law enforcement career, Kevin attended St Josephs College in Rensselaer Indiana, and Graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. He worked as a Registered Nurse and maintained this licensure and certification for over ten years. Kevin is a past president of a corporation, a patented inventor, and an ultralight aircraft pilot.

Kevin and his wife Sandra have two grown children, Kristin and Levi, and are enjoying raising their two youngest, Liberty and Justice.
